Ring! Ring! Ring!

A pale slender hand reached out to click off the noisy alarm. After the simple task was completed the sleepy figure drifted back into the world of dreams.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

An annoyed groan broke through the silence followed by a loud crash as the clock was introduced to the floor. Satisfied the sleepy form rolled over.

Ring! Ring! Ri-….Hello Ms. Salima Nagano. I was calling on behalf of Little Tokyo to inform you of your job interview in 3 hours. Dress for the occasion!

Another groan sounded as creamy sheets were tossed aside and a feminine form sat up in bed. Salima as she was called rubbed her eyes and glanced over at the clock, but instead she saw the phone, the inbox button flashing red.

"So I wasn't dreaming," she murmured, suppressing an oncoming yawn. Swinging her legs over the edge of the bed she stood only to feel something hard and bumpy under her left foot. Peering down through the darkness Salima read the numbers 7:07 displayed up-side down on her clock.

"I guess that wasn't the alarm I heard either."

Slowly she picked up the clocked and set it on the edge of her drawer, "Sorry little guy. I'm used to tossing you around on school mornings."

Giving the clock a second glance Salima waltzed over to the balcony. She could see the sunlight struggling to enter. Not wanting to prolong the day, Salima pulled back the curtains and flung open the doors. Morning rays caressed her skin and poured into the bedroom behind her. Feeling warmed by the sun's gentle touch, she stretched one hand going to cover the yawn she could no longer stifle.

In the distance Tokyo city was awaking and bustling with activity. Salima listened to the occasional car blaring it's horn and smirked. Summer was here and she had only one thought in mind for the adventures that awaited her in the next three months.

Bring it on.
