Disclaimer: JK Rowling owns quote, Hogwarts and the Weasleys

'You actually are joking Perce ... I don't think I've heard you joke since you were-' everything seemed to happen in slow motion. The wall I was currently standing against burst, into thousands of pieces. The hard rainfall caused me to be crushed under, struggling to breathe. Whilst my ribs and lungs collapsed, my mind went back. Back to the last time Percy made a joke.

It was before we were even at Hogwarts, before he turned into a pompous uptight git and before me, George and Jordan turned into the 2nd best Hogwarts pranksters ever. No, this was when we were kids, with chubby red cheeks and legs that toddled. Mum had brought Ron back that day from Saint Mungos, wrapped in a patchy old blanket with a bright red face from screaming at the top of his lungs.

Me and George looked at him, wondering how such a little thing can be so loud. We turned in our chairs to Percy who was sitting at the kitchen table reading The Fountain of Fair Fortune, his horn rimmed glasses making him seem even more excited than he was.

'Perce..' George said, his face scrunched up in confusion and his eyes bright with curiosity, just like I was.
'Yesss' Percy hissed, annoyed at being torn from , even then he was obsessed with reading.
'Why does he make so much noise?' George asked nodding towards Ron who was ignoring Mum's cuddle and screaming his head off.
Percy looked at us and a toothy grin appeared on his freckle face.
'Because we are made from lions, so we roar' he said , making us erupt in a fit of giggles, only to quieten down when mum gave us her death scare.

But as I laid there among the rubble, I realised Percy wasn't joking, he was right. Us Weasleys are made from lions and we become lions. And people can always hear us roar.

My breathing silenced and my eyes moved no more , but not before I thought :

''I am a lion and even if I'm not there , you'll hear my roars''

I smiled.
