Chapter 1: Rescue
Daylovesmusicj: hey guys, this story is my first karneval fic, which you can find on wattpad too. It kind of follows the anime, but will have some love too.
The ages are: Nai: 14 , Gareki: 16, Yogi: 21, Tsukumo: 19
I think we can get started now.
Tsukumo: no you crazy b*tch, we first have to do the disclaimer.
Yogi: ok, that's the perfect job for me. Daylovesmusicj doesn't own karneval, the characters or the parts which follow the anime. Right, I nearly forgot, this contains spoilers , but since day already mentioned that it follows the anime, that should be obvious.
+++Nai POV, Mines room+++
I was talking to Karoku in my own little world, when he began to disappear. Which is when Lady mine came in and hovered above me, asking me :" Are you nervous ?" " Youre on my stomache , it hurts." I whimper. "Are you telling me I am fat?!" yells she angrily. She is gonna slap my when I bring my chained hands up to defend myself when she notices Karokus bracelet. She mumbles something about circus ID and them finding her, when I hear a strange noise. She must have noticed something too, because she walked out of the room. I stand up when there was a BOOM and a hole in the roof. A strange guy came through it and looked around, then he went to the shelf with books, apparently looking for something. "sorry, are you gonna leave again?" I ask. "what?" grunts the guy in response. "You see, I want to get out of here, but…" I trail off. He looks down to my wrists and says:" nice thing you got there", obviously talking about Karokus bracelet," I could bring you out in return for that bracelet." "okay, it´s not mine to give away, but I am sure karoku won´t mind." After I did that he gave me a small smile and destroyed the chains. I couldn't help but think he was pretty. In that moment the thief tensed up, and as I looked to the door, I saw that the lady has returned. She then said: "Are you with circus…, probably just some smalltown thief." Then the thief raises his gun and threatens: "what if?" She then got that creepy look and said:" I don't care, lets play a little game of tag." With that she moves here head in a way humans shouldn't and her arms and nails got bigger. "but", she continues," I will catch you fast." "hey! Follow me!" and with that the wall exploded. I don't know if the lady was following us, I just focused on running. We hid behind a box when some kind of security guy tried to shoot us, but the thief just shot of the light, when we heard : first the wings, then the organs and at three are you dead." With that she killed the poor guy and bit him. "I said tag, not hide and seek, you have to run." Then her face transformed and she lashes out, but the thief throws explosives at her, destroying the room, making the monster fall through a hole. "what happened to her?" I ask in shock. I didn't get a response, he seemed deep in thought. Then he held out his hand and pulled me up. "I am Gareki, you?"he asks. I happily answer:" my name is Nai."
Day: please comment if you liked it, or want me to do something different. I watched the episode while doing this, can you believe covering the first 8 minutes would take a half hour to write?
Gareki: why does Nai call me pretty ?
Day: because he doesn't know that you think its unmanly to be pretty. ( no offense against boys who call themselves pretty.)
