Rescue me from the bar scene
It has been a pretty hard day at work for Chase and Cameron. They had to work double time, they missed lunch, and they weren't hungry for dinner anymore all they wanted to do was just go home and relax.
Well on his way home Chase was feeling stressed and he needed something to take his mind on everything, so he popped into a fancier bar then the rest for a quick drink or so he thought. The second he sat down he noticed a middle age women pretty much having eye sex with him. He wasn't interested but he already looked so he had to go along with it but he was faking. After a few glances he noticed a familiar face over at the bar. A very annoyed Cameron with a half drunk man with a loose tie and a burp in his mouth pretty much barking at her feet. He kind of felt bad for him, he was getting drunk on rejections and booze then again he didn't know what no meant. Chase really felt sorry for Cameron; she was being asked stupid questions like "what's your sign" or "how do you like your eggs." He took a sip of bear, took a chance and went over there.
"Hello honey sorry I'm late" said chase giving her the big 'go with the flow' eyes
Cameron looked at him and then back at the man "it's ok" she said leaning in for the side cheek kiss to complete the allusion
Chase flinched back a bit but didn't want to give himself away so he went along with it and gave her a kiss as well
"I got a table for us do you want to..." he asked looking back
Cameron looked at him "oh yeah sure"
"I'll have a beer" chase asked to the bar tender and looked back at Cameron
"What are you drinking?" he asked with a wink
Cameron smiled and winked back
"I'll have a apple martini please" she asked the bar tender
Chase gave the man a very smug look telling him to back off
The man slowly backed off
"I'll leave you two alone…heh umm" he said clasping his hands together and walking backwards slowly
When he was out of sight Cameron and Chase started laughing
"Thank you" Cameron giggled
"I don't know why I stopped it; you and him were meant to be" he sarcastically said then taking a sip of his drink
Cameron laughed and took a sip from her straw
"Well what about her" Cameron motioned to the women Chase encountered
"Oh that; that was love at first sight" he explained making Cameron laugh
Chase looked back at the very jealous women and raised his glass to her
Cameron laughed and walked away
"Where are you going?" Chase asked nervously
"To are table, like you said"
Cameron looked back and gave a smirk and taking another sip of her martini
Chase thought for a minute, 'was this turning out to be actual date?'
"Are you coming" Cameron asked, she was making it into a date like a date, date
Chase paused for a second he liked her and she was curious because there last date didn't turn out so well, they never even made it to the restaurant last time.
Chase looked up at her
"Yeah" he smiled
Cameron smiled back and they sat down together, getting caught up in the nice conversation to even think about what the others might say, well Chase was picturing the look on Forman's face if he found out that they went on an ACTUAL date; like he cared what the others thought.
