Disclaimer: I don't own LOST!
:::Chapter One:::
It all started when my dad asked me what I was going do for my summer. I, of course, made the mistake of saying "Nothing, dad." Boy was that a huge mistake!
" I signed you up for summer camp this year! Won't that be fun!?" My dad said as he rudely walked into my room, without knocking, again.
I didn't want to hurt his feelings so I just replied with a simple but weak; "Yeah dad, cool." But what I really wanted to say "NO Dad! Are you kidding me! I don't want to waste my summer at some camp!"
Why would he do this to me!? He should know that a ten and a half year old kid doesn't want to spend his summer at a dumb old camp! But guess I could try to get through it just this once. I mean, its just one summer. What could possibly go wrong?

This is horrible! This is the worst summer of my life! And we haven't even gotten to the camp! Dad won't even let me bring anythingI want! No books, iPod, video games, nothing! Dad said that this is the summer to get away from all the media and junk that I like to do. Instead, he gave me all these horribly boring medical books!
"If you get bored you can read these!" he said while he packed them all into my suitcase then chucked it aimlessly into the trunk of the Jaguar.
"Dad, do we have to take the Jaguar? Everyone's going think I'm a snobby rich kid! No one ever likes the rich kid!" I complained as I slid into the passenger seat of the car.
"No one's going think your snobby!"
That's what he thinks... He's never been sent to summer camp...

We were driving for what seemed like an eternity!
"Its not that far! Quit your complaining!" My dad kept his eyes on the road as he reprimanded me. He let me keep my ipod for the ride there, but once we got to the camp, all freedom was gone!
Dad led me to the child sign in, gave me my luggage, then rode off into the distance.
"Stupid good for nothing father..." I mumbled to myself.
Someone yelled through a bull horn to get our attention. "Okay children! Time to fill the buses! Girls in buses one and two and boys in three and four!"
We all shuffled into the buses and I found a seat all to myself. I placed my backpack on the seat next to me insuring that no one would sit there. Looking around, I saw some very strange kids. Like in the seat next to me, there was this boy with a very smug look on his face. He had his back to the bus wall and he was facing me. He just stared at me! But I wasn't the only kid who looked miserable. There was a Korean kid in the seat directly across from me. He had his arms folded against his chest and he muttered to himself in Korean.
Paper airplanes and bouncy balls flew through the air. Everyone seemed to be having fun except me.
I hope camp gets better then this...
