Hamster Parrot
"Is she in the bath…?"
The children couldn't contain their giggles. "Yes, she is…!"
"Okay, I'll go get him…!"
"Hi, Tarrlok…!" Ikki smiled.
"Why, hello, Ikki, how are you?"
"Fine… yourself?"
"I'm doing well, thank you very much."
"Daddy got us a new hamster parrot."
"A hamster parrot, oh, wow…! Aren't you a lucky girl. Growing up in the Arctic, we never get to see hamster parrots."
"Want to see it? I've named it Dodo."
"I'd be delighted to, I'd love to see Dodo."
As they walked up the stairs, Ikki's room was to the left, but she and Tarrlok turned to the right…
"This is such a treat, Ikki, I'm so glad that I'll get to see a hamster parrot up close and personal."
"Alright, Dodo's just this way…"
As the airbender opened the door, steam left the room, and there was Korra in all her basic glory, stretching in the water of the bathtub.
If looks could kill, Korra's eyes would be shooting fire blast right now.
"IKKI!"
Buckets and bottles of shampoo were thrown in Tarrlok's general direction, and a blast of water from the Avatar's waterbending left the Councilman and Ikki sopping wet.
"GET OUT!"
Jinora and Meelo showed themselves in the hallway and all three airbender children couldn't contain their laughter. Despite Ikki getting wet as well, it was all worth it. The look on Tarrlok's face was a different story. Shock, embarrassment, anger, fear… Anger would be a great thing to feel right now.
Angry at the children.
"Wait until your father hears about this…!" He snarled. "I work with him!"
But he worked with Korra more on the Task Force.
When they see each other again in person, face to face, it was going to be one awkward conversation.
