As I gazed over the skyline of Harran I could see the sun setting. The lights on the other side of the quarantine zone lit up. I looked and wondered if they could hear the screams of the Volatiles. I heard footsteps and a voice say, "What do you want?"
I was sent to Harran to find Kyle Crane, who had the file that the GRE was after. After Kyle's last communication with the GRE he has since been unreachable. The GRE has been impatient and demands that I find Kyle Crane and get the file from him.
Before I was airdropped into Harran I was apart of an elite unit in Japan called the SAT (Special Assault Team). After my time in the SAT I joined up with the Japanese Military because of my skills the government chose me to enter SFG (Special Forces Group) after a year or so. I got a call from the GRE asking me to find one of their rogue agents, Kyle Crane. I accepted and was on my way to Harran via the GRE.
The GRE filled me in on the situation with Kyle Crane, saying he has gone rogue from his mission like the last GRE agent, Kadir Suleiman. The GRE has noted that Crane gets emotionally attached to people, like the survivors in Harran. After being briefed on the mission I was ready to get geared up and dropped in a zombie-infested city. I was dressed in an assassin suit, so to speak, dual pistols, and a Katana. I put my helmet on and boarded the plane.
The door to the plane opened and I was clear to jump. By the time I had gotten into Harran it was dark. As I glided I landed on top of a roof of a large building, during the landing I had hurt my leg. The GRE told me of the dangers that lurked in the night and I had to be careful. I tried to get up but the pain was too much. I took my helmet off and my black hair hung in my face thanks to the helmet. I was thankful that my hair was short, especially in this heat. I couldn't move my leg and sat where I landed. I believe I was safe up here in the tower. I didn't see or hear any monsters since landing.
It was almost morning and I was glad to have survived the night without any undead interference. My leg was feeling better so I started to make for the crane up above. I climbed up to the crane and saw someone on the other side. He was looking down at the city, like he pitied it. He eventually went back inside. I made my way across the crane and ended up on the other tower where the guy was. I searched for a way inside and found the door leading to a staircase.
I went down the stairs and ended up on Level 19. The guard that was sitting in front of the elevator door was wondering where I came from. I was escorted to see the leader of the group, "Brecken" I think is what they called him. As I entered the room there was a guy that his back turned to me, I said, "I'm assuming you're the man called Brecken? The leader of this group?" He turned around and smiled. Brecken said, "I am, who are you? How did get in here?" I tried to keep the conversation short but that didn't work out as I had planned. I said, "I'm Jaden Kitagawa, I'm looking for Kyle Crane. He has something I want." Brecken looked me up and down then finally said, "What is it that Kyle has that you want?" I said to him "What Kyle has is of no concern to you, where can I find him?" Brecken looked at me with hands on his hips and sighed heavily. He finally said, "I can't tell you where he is because I've been out of radio contact but if you help me I will give you his last known coordinates." I of course had no choice but to help him. I needed to find Kyle no matter what, I said to Brecken "Alright, I'll help you."
