I own none of the characters of Doctor Who

"Wasn't that fun?" The Doctor beamed staring into her hazel eyes, her expression equally joyful.

"Yes it was," Silence consumed the console room for a few mins before she added, "And you know it Chin Bo-" The ringing of the phone paused their conversation instantly. "B-But..." After a few rings Clara could only mange those few symbols. "H-how?"

Ignoring his companion he turned his attention towards the screen; away from her stare. He turned it towards him and checked the numbers and tried to suppress his instant smile. "It's..." He coughed. "It's... well." He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned on the console, nodding his head towards the phone attached to it. "It's for you." He smiled now brightly and her confusion only added to his delight.

"F-For... for me?" Her voice raising with her impatience. She crossed her arms mirroring him. "What do you mean, for me?"

"I mean-" The ringing stopped he let his smile subsided momentarily and then when the ringing filled the room again lifted off the console and steeped slightly closer to her. "That person on the end of that phone wants to talk to you" Her lips twitching slightly like they always do when she's not sure if he's teasing.

Leaning in closer to him she whispered beneath the sound of the phone, as if afraid non existing people would hear them. "You... How do you know?"

He waited till he could see her eyes again and then he kept eye contact with her. He knew she was afraid he was teasing her, so he smiled as he said "I dare you."

She smiled and teased. "You giving me a look?"

He mimicked his look form a while ago in an old house they had visited together. Both laughing as she picked up the receiver. "Hello?" She asked still a little unsure, the Doctor nodding her on until she turned away from them

"Clara? Oh am I glad to here from you! I need you, home, now!"
