Naraku… his mind told him…"Kagome…why… why didn't you call for me…" he voice was soft but rasp, raw from his own sadness, he swallowed hard and picked up the body, and started to the well, to return her to her family… as he walked to the well, he hardly notices sesshomaru standing their silent looking at his brother. and sighed loudly getting inu's attention he looked at him for a long moment somewhat confused by his apperace"come to rub this in my face like you did when kikyo died" inuyasha asked bluntly thinking of no other reason his sadistic brother would visit him on purpose. "No"sesshomaru said bluntly his remaining hand griping the sword of healing... tensegia,"i make you an offer inuyasha, she bears a child of my loins, and I shall let her live." Inuyasha blinked and sighed he didn't know what to do... he agreed, and laid her body down on the ground as miroku and shippo started their spying, seeing sesshomaru revile kagome then pick her up and leave as swiftly as he came, inuyasha slumped down and started to cry softly...feeling regret Shippo walked out of the bushes and walked to inuyasha, and rested a hand on his shoulder. he didn't even notice, to consumed by grief, miroku join them a moment later and by sango after a bit. everyone was mostly silent, even after they had returned to the village and their respective huts. even after inuyasha told them why sesshomaru was with him at the well, it didn't make any scene... they all pondered silently what would happen to kagome.
