"Mother! Emmett won't stop touching me!" I screamed earning an annoyed sigh from the front and a squeal from my left.

"I'm not touching you." Emmett smirked, fake-punching at my shoulder. "You can't get mad!"

"Watch me you brat!" I jerked against my seat belt to hit him anywhere I could and mom suddenly joined the screaming.

"Everyone shut up!"

An awkward 'ohmygod she just yelled' moment took over our car and I settled back against my seat looking out the window over my bouncing sister's head.

Big grey eyes looked up and I smiled down at Amy. She squealed and returned my smile revealing her pointy little teeth and causing her strawberry blonde hair to fall across her face.

She's probably my favorite sibling. She's small. Cute. Female. Doesn't do much but sleep, eat and make the occasional mistake of digging through her brother's things.

Speaking of brothers... Elliot and Emmett yelled out suddenly and I cast them both a look as they hollered again at the bikini-clad girls giggling on the sidewalk. Ew. I really wish they weren't my brothers. They used to be nice is the weird thing. You know? Protect me and stuff. Now all they care about is-

"CALL ME!"

Dumb ass.

I sighed and pulled my iPod out, flipping it on and blaring it as loud as possible. I closed my eyes and suddenly found myself in an even worse mood. We're in California. Apparently my mom has friends here and since her and dad are having issues we had to drive across the country so mom could get a little 'emotional support' or some bull like that.

You can't really blame her though. My dad is a total bitch. He's been working later and later and we hardly ever saw him anyway, but hell - if he'd rather mack on his secretary than spend time with us he can have at it.

"Jazz? Jasmine! Are you listening to me?" I pulled my earphones out and glanced up to see my mom sticking her head through the car window. "Get Amy and come in the house, please?"

I looked over to see Em climbing out of the car and of course slamming the door in my face behind him. I rolled my eyes and flung the door open, going around Amy's side and undoing the freaky contraption called a car seat.

"Amy go up?" I laughed at the tiny arms already reaching up and scooped my sister out of her seat.

Sighing for possibly the billionth time that day I carried my sister up the curving walkway and up to our new house.

So much for home sweet home.

The massive mansion looked unnaturally dark compared to our old three bedroom apartment in Savannah. The porch itself looked way too ancient to walk on let alone the building that looked like something out of a bad horror movie.

The so called house was at least four stories and already I could hear laughter echoing inside as my mother greeted her friends.

I wrinkled my nose and looked up, somewhat expecting to see gargoyles glaring at me and jumping backwards when I spotted not a pissed off statue but a smiling boy looking at me.

"Grey!" A woman's voice called and it took me a moment to realize it was my mom's.

It also took me another couple minutes to realize she was talking to the boy on the roof.

In one second I was blinking at my mother with what I'm sure was a serious W-T-F face and in the next I'm starring in disbelief as Grey hugs my mom like they were old friends or something.

"Jasmine!" My mother smiled over his shoulder. "Come meet your cousins!"

I took a hesitant step forward, completely unsure of what to do. Mom had no brothers or sisters. So how did I have cousins. I stepped forward again still looking at my moms smiling face in complete surprise when a high pitched voice rings off in my ear.

"Amy wants down!"

Oh, how I love my sister.
