Lately, Raven had felt strange around Beast Boy. Every time he told one of his jokes, she paid a bit more attention to him. No, she wasn't suddenly finding him funny. She felt uncomfortable and suddenly wanted to leave whenever he walked into the room. Her thoughts began to make more room for him. But the strangest part? She would find herself staring at him. And smiling.

The first time she noticed this, she was sitting by the breakfast counter. She watched him talk happily to Cyborg across the room. Her hood was pulled over her head - and in the darkness of her cloak, a thin smile spread across her lips. Once she noticed this, her face stiffened back into her usual expression.

This was happening more and more. And she did not know why.
