Unexpected Consequences
"Ginny, I'm back, home to stay!
"Yes, I figured as much. Why are you just standing there?"
"Aren't you going to at least give me a hug or something?"
"Hmm, now that you mention it, I think I have a far better idea."
"Ow! Ginny-ow-stop! What are you-ow-doing?"
"What's it look like, I'm hitting you. Would you rather I kicked you in the shins or punched you?"
"No, Ouch-but-ow-Gin-ouch-why?"
"Oh, I'm sorry, I thought it was quite obvious-SLAP-I'm SLAP-hitting you for every day you've been gone"-SLAP!
"Ginny you can't do that! I've been gone for a year, that's 365 days!
"Are you implying that I don't know how many days there are in a year?"
"No, of course not. All I'm saying is that you can't possibly hit me 365 times! Ginny? Gin, are you even listening to me?"
"Fifteen-SLAP, sixteen-SLAP, seventeen-SLAP… Oh, I'm sorry Harry, did you say something?"
"I said you can't possibly hit me 365 times."
"Wanna bet?"
"This is ridiculous!"
"You're ridiculous!"
"Look, why don't we go for a walk or something?"
"Fine, fine…"
Uh, Ginny?
"Ya?"
"Why are you shredding that flower?"
"I'm pretending it's you."
"Oh. Well, just wondering."
"Would you rather I hit you again?"
"No, no, just carry on with killing that plant."
"Look, if you're so upset about the flower, I can find another way to punish you."
"Excuse me?"
"You heard what I said."
"Er, punish me?"
"Yeah, you didn't expect me to let you off that easily for being gone for a year did you?"
"Well, yeah. Just a bit."
"What's that you say?"
"Oh, nothing."
"You know how annoying you are when you speak incoherently?"
"No."
"Oh, well you better be quiet now."
"Why?"
"Because I'm giving you the silent treatment."
"Really? Sure doesn't sound like it, you keep talking to me."
"You're infuriating."
"You're cute when you get mad."

"This isn't working."
"What isn't working?"
"Giving you the silent treatment."
"Yeah, well, better stop while you're ahead."
"---"
"You know you love me."
"Shut up."
"You're in denial."
"I said shut up!"
"---"
"You just can't stand the tension."

"FINE! I love you, you great prat!"
"I love you too. Now, do you feel better?"
"Hmph!"
"I see this isn't getting us anywhere."
"And what do you plan to do about that?"
"How about this?"
"---!"
"---"
"Are you still mad at me now?"
"No- I mean yes!"
"Hm, I'll have to try that again…"

"How 'bout now? Still mad?"
"No, I gave up."
"Are you going to be mad again later?"
"Only if you don't shut up and kiss me again!"
