After all is set and done peace reigns once more, or does it? Suddenly one night, what seems as the dark hour and midnight channel combined appears and a strange hollow statue and the apathy syndrome appears. Yuu and co now have to team up with the old sees team to stop this strange event. But with death around and holding some chained object this may be hard.

1. Chapter 1

Misty Shadows, Prologue

11:55 pmAs a random couple continue to wander down the streets of Inaba, the hours growing late. As the man stops to look at his watch, his girlfriend looks over his shoulder and cries out, "oh no! Its already 11:55! I'm suppose to be home by 12! what are we gonna do? Dad's gonna flip if I'm late!"

11:56 pm "Don't worry, your house is like, five minutes from here. I'm pretty sure your dad won't get mad about you being a few minutes late." the male tried to ease his frantic girlfriend.

11:57 pm "Yeah, your right. I'm being silly, haha."

11:58 pm Sounds of chains rattling begin to faintly echo all around as a light haze begins to surround the oblivious couple. "H-hey randy did y-you hear that?" the woman whispers lightly as she clutches the mans shirt as hard as she could without hurting him. "Hear wha-"

11:59 The sound as if someone is hitting solid marble with a hammer echo's erraticly yet ever so faintly as though its happening yet is not truly there. The haze begins to turn into a thick fog, swirling like a rabid beast around the couples feet. Waiting to swallow them whole. "Ra-randy I'm sc-scared whats going on?" "I...I don't know but stay close to me!"

12:00 The shrill sound ofglass shatteringsurrounds all who dared to venture out during midnight. The restless fog springs fourth from the ground, swallowing them in one nibble. Blood begins

to ooze out the buildings, staining them an eerie murky crimson. The green tint of the sky makes the swirling foggy mast hold a haunting color. A menacing sound of heavy rock hitting solid concretesuddenly crashes trough the air. "Guyahh!? Wha- hey! No let go! Grr-ahh-!" the sound of a body wrapped in chains dragged along near the couple ominously screeches. However, this falls on deaf ears as they are shriveled up on the ground, eyes wide and mouths open in a silent scream. For before them was the shadow of a horrifying monster.

12:01 A boy and a girl are seen standing around aimlessly, eyes blank drool present at the corner of they're mouths, grunths and moans are the only sounds able to leave each others mouths.

The next morning as the papers are handed out the headline states, "Seven people found seemingly mindless last night! Is the appototry syndrome back?!
