They were pawns. All of them.

The war was over, and they just stood still weapons still out. It was so silent you could hear a pin drop. But they weren't happy, there were no cries of joy

They had defeated the giants, they had defeated Gaea, but the gods had not helped them. The gods had the just sat there and watched.

The demigods were pawns. They were the pawns of the gods, pawns of Gaea, pawns of everything.

To storm or fire the world must fall

And the world did fall. Mother Earth was destroyed, but the world where gods ruled was destroyed too.

The gods could not, and would not last without the demigods. The gods needed pawns.

It was time for new leaders.

This would be there last fight, and this time it wasn't for the gods. It was for their dead friends, for their camps, for them.

They were different people now. Different from the happy demigods they were before they stepped foot on the Argo II.

It was time to show the gods who they really were. They would get revenge on their parents. They stepped forward. About to become more than just pawns.
