Run Run. Gotta Run The blue she cat thought as she pelted towards the cliff. Then she saw him. Fire heart, her deputy, in the jaws of the biggest dog. "Bluestar! Go, I'll be fine!" He yowled, pain in his voice. "I won't leave you Fireheart!" She yowled. She sprinted over to the dog and vaulted herself into it's back, clawing and biting madly. The dog dropped Fireheart, now intent upon killing the blue she-ca on it's back. The dog shook, sending Bluestar flying. She landed on her side with a sharp thud that knocked the breath out of her. Blue star shiver herself to unsteady paws and saw the dog racing over to her. "Come and get me!" She snarled at racing to the edge of the cliff. The dog took the bait and leaped at her. She sidestepped out if he way right as he leaped at her. She would have been fine had not the weight of the large dog crumbled some of the cliff. Bluestar was falling. She hit the icy cold water with a splash. She could breathe. Through the water she heard a voice. "Swim my Sweet, swim. Our kits are waiting for you." A deep tom's voice told her. "Oakheart?" She murrmured, head blurry with exhaustion. She forced her self to swim when she felt teeth meet her scruff. It was Fireheaet. Then two more jaws joined him. Could it be? Could it really be my kits?! She was almost laughing and crying at the same time as they dragged her too shore. "Stonepelt? Mistyfur?" She murmured, retching up water. "What do you want?" Mistyfur snarled warily. "My kits..." She murmured, trying to lick them. "She's your Mother." Fire heart told them. "She can't be!" Stonepelt snarled, outraged at suck an idea. "Oakheart was a fine father and Graypool did good to raise you... Can you forgive me?" She asked wearily, hope in her eyes. Mistyfur was the first to step foward. "I forgive you." She murmured, licking her mother's ears. "I to." Stormpelt said. Both cats bent down to groom her. Blue star let out a rusty purr. Oakheart? she thought as she saw the form of a shining brown tabby over her and her kits. It is time Bluestar. Come join me in Starclan. With those final words ringing in Bluestar's head she let herself sink in to the overwhelming blackness and into death to be with her beloved Oakhearr in Starclan.
