A/N: My first Splatalot fanfic, introduced to me by my awesome friend, BlueJay026.

Enjoy this short, predictable story. :)

Kookaburra tittered gleefully at himself, holding a small container in his hand. Nimbly sneaking about the castle, he arrived at his destination. Though he usually was the last Defender awake, due to his staying up until all hours during the night, he had decided to turn in early last night in order to awake at this early hour of the morning. His lack of sleep would definitely be worth it, he had decided.

Quietly, (a manner in which Kook hardly ever did anything), he sneaked into the Viking Defenders' room. Never before had he seen so many mirrors on the walls, or stacks of expensive conditioner in the corners of the room. The Viking with the sleek, long, auburn-colored hair was sleeping with a smug, amused smile on his face. "Yes, Gildar, you are the most handsome," he vainly muttered in his slumber.

Kook disdainfully shook his head as he eagerly searched for a specified object. He could hardly contain himself as he finally found it, excitedly turning the container over in his hands. Carefully, the bird opened the container, making extra precaution not to get any of the fine, white, powder on his hands.

He poured some of the contents onto the Viking armor in strategic places, suppressing an oncoming, abrasive laugh.

"Just wait until the Attackers come and find Gildar in an...uncomfortable condition!" Kook thought joyously to himself, disregarding any possible consequences that could come of this prank.

After he had finished, Kook slipped out of the room, almost blinded by the stream of the rising sun coming into the room, reflecting off of the numerous mirrors.

"Rise and shine!" Knightress yelled, though some Defenders were already awake.

The Defenders eventually streamed out of their bedrooms, ready to eat breakfast, then face another group of young Attackers.

"Kook, Tinkor, and Gildar are defending first," Knightress announced, letting them know to prepare quickly.

The group finished their breakfast, then set off in opposite directions to prepare for the incoming attackers. Kook smiled at himself as he knew what surprise awaited a certain, self-absorbed, Viking.

"You think that's funny, do ya? Well, how about this?!" Kook laughed, sliming a sassy Attacker on the Slippery Slope.

The young Attacker in green hopelessly fell into the moat as Kook's slime ball nailed him perfectly.

Kook abruptly recalled that Gildar should be feeling the effects of his prank right about...

"What-what the...?" Gildar began shifting and twisting his body in abnormal directions, then furiously trying to scratch the unbearable itching.

Kook didn't even try to restrain himself as he let out a large, obnoxious laugh at reaction to his wonderful prank. "Slow-acting itching powder," he thought, smiling at himself.

"YOU!" Gildar pointed a long, large finger at the laughing bird. "I KNEW I saw a bird-feather in my room this morning!"

Hardly controlling his laughter, Kook shot a slime ball at the Attacker attempting to cross the Battle Axes, then shot one in the itching Vikings' direction, pushing his luck.

Gildar, enraged, gave a roar, frightening both Kook and the teenager, who fell back into the musty moat.

Just when Kook felt extreme hopelessness and despair at the knowledge of Gildar's wrath, Gildar whipped out his trusty hand mirror.

"Gildar, you're still the most handsome of them all," he smiled at his reflection, while still uncomfortably shifting his body.

Kook just laughed.
