Title: The Gods of Olympus
Fandom: Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Pairing: None
Summary: The Gods of Olympus are known to be powerful and mighty, but they are very, very far from perfect.
Notes: Found this lurking in my folder and I thought maybe I could share it with you guys. :) Basically a collection of drabbles about the gods.

Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty.

I love you.

These three words are used too much. How carelessly these words are thrown around, and how insignificant the people make them to be!

They say it in exchange for the most trivial of things, like allowing them copy assignments or helping them finish a project. They don't see the real beauty in those words – the power those words hold.

In the olden days, these words were said in private, in secret and in the most special of moments. But today, in this millennia, love holds no beauty.

And it aggravates you to no end. You, the goddess of love and beauty, because the things you hold dear are irrelevant. They are made to be irrelevant.

So you show them. You give them quests and manipulate their emotions. You make sure that they'll cherish love for what it is – for what it's supposed to be. And for some people – for the chosen people of Aphrodite – love is made beautiful once more.
