Jade overheard Cat talking to Tori.
"You should tell him how you feel Tori," Cat said.
Tori shook her head.
"Someone like him could never like someone like me," she said.
"If he doesn't," Jade replied, "he's an idiot."
"Jade, you don't even know who he is," Cat said.
"I don't even care who he is," Jade responded
"Jade!"
"Tori you are the sweetest, funniest, most giving person at Hollywood Arts. He would have to be blind, deaf and stupid not to see that"
Tori smiled
"Thank you," she said, "but there's another reason I would never go after him. He doesn't exactly belong to me"
Jade rolled her eyes.
"Slavery ended in the 1700's," she reminded Tori, "so he doesn't belong to anyone"
He belongs to you, Tori thought to herself
"Look Jade," she said, "It's complicated"
"Who is this guy anyway," Jade asked
"A very good friend of mine," Tori said with a smile.
"Does he have a name," Jade asked.
"Yes his name is-"
"Cat," Tori scolded
"Oh sorry," Cat said, "I forgot nobody's supposed to know that you like-"
"CAT!"
"Apparently it's a secret so I'll not press any further," Jade said with a smile, "I have class anyway"
"Cat," Tori scolded after Jade was out of an earshot
"What?"
"If Jade knew I liked Beck my head would be detached from my body"
"Oh," Cat said, "I guess I should be quiet about it then"
"Thank you Catherine Obvious," he said
