I always was a night owl
But I still sleep at night anyway
Instead of staying to hear the night howl
I get in my bed until the light of day
Like a wolf I wish to prowl
But still I sleep the night away
As the creatures of the night yowl
I'm in my bed molded like clay
In the darkness of nights cowl
Awake I wish to stay
But something more alluring
In my dreams awaits
In the clouds concealing
The way to dreamers gates
The darkness parts revealing
A place of many traits
And every night I relearn what's true
I only sleep to dream of you
