Summary: After Vlad and Meredith go through a heartbreaking break-up, Meredith finds comfort in the fact that her mother and sister will soon be returning from their European tour. After more than a year's absence, Meredith is relieved to see that her family hasn't changed a bit. Mary, her mother, is still the same loving woman and Annabelle, her sister, is the same hyper, caring teenager. On Annabelle's first day in Bathory High, she has a run-in with a handsome brunette that just so happens to be Vladimir Tod's best friend. Their immediate liking to each other is quickly jeopardized when Meredith finds out they're becoming so close. After being forbidden from speaking to Henry, Annabelle is forced to choose between her sister and her crush. With Henry not wanting to leave Annabelle alone, their crush is turned into an overly dramatic Romeo and Juliet fiasco. When Annabelle is almost fed up with having to sneak around with Henry, he confesses something to her. Something she hadn't expected to hear. Especially not from Henry McMillan. With Annabelle's feelings for Henry rapidly increasing, their desperation to stay together increases with it. When Meredith talks Tom and Bill into "persuading" Henry into leaving Annabelle alone, Henry ends up in the hospital. Taking drastic measures to keep their relationship alive, Henry asks Vlad for a favor that will change his and Annabelle's fate forever.
