7/12/16: TURN BACK NOW, ALL WHO VALUE GOOD WRITING. No, but seriously, you don't want to read this story. The writing is shit, the plot is shit, the character consistency is shit, pretty much everything is shit, and this goes for all three books. This was a weird stage in my life (it was around the time a Fanfictioner grows out of OC stories but doesn't quite know what good writing is yet; otherwise known as the eleven-twelve-year-old-stage for me), and because the majority of other DP writers were doing angst, I thought everyone wanted angst (new writers, do not be fooled; angst does get very boring very quickly when it's done too much). Still, that's no excuse for this. For those of you who actually manage to like, I commend you being patient and finding something in this that even the author can't find it. Ya'll are saints.
The only bright side to this is that I am thinking of rewriting it sometime, and if you've seen my other work, you'll know that my writing is gotten infinitely better (which is not a shocker because it's not very hard to top this story). However, said rewrite would almost be unrecognizable when compared to the original. I would scrap so much of the plot and replace it, which is why I've been hesitant to start a rewrite. Shockingly, there are people who actually enjoyed the story, loved it even (hard to imagine; I know), and for those few people, I would feel bad taking away something they enjoyed. Thus, you see my dilemma.
However, the idea is still burning bright, and I may pursue it sometime eventually. Till then, just leave this tab please. If you continue on and hate it, you can't really complain cause I did warn you. You poor bastard, you didn't listen to me. If you read and enjoy, well, again, I commend you for finding something to like about this.
