Well hi everyone! I haven't written in a loooonnnggg time, so I decided I would make little short stories because I don't really have much time to write huge chapters. This is a Jara story, and I hope you like it! :)
"There. now you look amazing as me Mara!" Amber says satisfied with her work. Mara turns to Amber and chuckles. "Thank you for helping" She says looking down at her silky ocean blue dress. "Of course. Now, go down there and have the time of your life!" Amber says pushing Mara out the door and shutting it behind her. Taking a deep breath, Mara goes down the hall and down the stairs.
She sees Jerome standing at the bottom of the stairs with a small red rose in hand. His crystal blue eyes widen as she slowly comes down the stairs. "You look..." He starts eyes widened. "Awful I know.." She finishes. "I was gunna say amazing but if the shoe fits.." He says taking her hand grinning widely. "Jerome!" She says playfully pushing him. He chuckles and walks with her to the front door and opens it. "After you my lady," he says motioning her to go outside.
He closes the door behind them and stops her. "What is it Jerome?" She looks up at him with her sparkling brown eyes. "Well first," He says pulling out a blindfold. "you have to put this on" he says moving behind her. "You are crazy Jerome Clarke. How do I not know that you will bring us to something dangerous? Like a pile of snakes or something?" She says chuckling as the blindfold is wrapped around her head. He moves closer to her ear "Trust me.." He whispers romantically in her ear. She can't help but blush.
"Now. Come on. Your romantic dinner awaits," Jerome says leading her carefully into the lawn of house. He moves slowly behind her and unwraps the blindfold. "Ta-da!" he says smiling as she looks at the beautiful gazebo lit up with lights and a table set for two. "Jerome.." She says in awe. "How did you-" he puts a finger up to her stopping her from saying another word. "We have the night all to ourselves. Please. Sit." He smiles pulling out a chair for her. Mara sits still looking around in awe. "Jerome this is amazing!" She says smiling wide. Jerome smiles. "I'm glad you like it," he says pulling out a guitar . "Jerome?" Mara looks at him confused. "If you don't mind, I want to sing a song for you." he says standing up and coming closer to her. Mara blushes as he begins singing Marry You by Bruno Mars. (I love this song no copyright intended just thought it was cute. ^-^) As he finishes the song he kneels down on one knee and slowly pulls out a black box. "Mara, you're the only one I wanna be with. You make me better. You bring out the best in me. So will you do the honor of marrying me and becoming Mrs. Clarke?" He says smiling. "Yes. Yes! YES!" she says jumping up and down. As he picks her up he spins her around and sets her down. "Mara, I love you." He says and kisses her.
