"SpongeBob, can you please hurry up with Table 7's order?!" Squidward yelled, losing what little patience he had for the day.
SpongeBob happily flipped a patty off the grill and grabbed a bun for it to land on.
"Table 7's order: A Super Deluxe Krabby Patty with extra pickles, extra tomatoes and no cheese," SpongeBob announced, placing said ingredients over the patty in tune with his description. "With one egg on the side."
Squidward sighed as he reached for the order. He could never understand how his co-worker could be so chipper at work. He firmly grasped the plate and the egg suddenly sprung to life and grabbed the Krabby Patty. With its objective in hand, the egg used SpongeBob's nose as a springboard to launch itself through the order window and over the cash register. SpongeBob and Squidward could only watch in awe as the egg dashed towards the door with the meal until it ran into a scarlet red leg.
"Not so fast, Plankton!" Mr. Krabs yelled, snatching the patty in the process.
Suddenly, the egg sprouted two green antennas and a single eye revealed itself over the shell.
"Hand over that patty, Krabs, or else you will be force to face the wrath of the new and improved Plankton!" Plankton threatened.
Mr. Krabs stared at Plankton for a full minute, but couldn't find anything that would make Plankton "new" or "improved."
"Uh, I don't see any improvement matey," the crustacean responded.
"You're face to face with my new armor," Plankton smirked.
"An egg?" Mr. Krabs responded in disbelief.
"Exactly! With my new armor, you will no longer be able to defeat me!" Plankton boasted.
After silently staring at his business rival for another full minute, Mr. Krabs raised his left foot and let gravity guide it down towards Plankton. Surprisingly, the egg shell was keeping him from squishing Plankton like he usually does.
"I told you, Krabs, I'm invincible now!" Plankton smirked.
In response to Plankton's claim, Mr. Krabs lifted the tiny creature up by his antennas and threw him out of the restaurant. He then casually approached his employees and asked, "So are you boys excited for the annual Sharing Festival?"
"Who would be excited about it?" Squidward asked.
Following Mr. Krabs eyes, Squidward glanced to his left and noticed SpongeBob standing next to his station, wearing a shirt that read: I love the Sharing Festival!
"What sensible person would be excited about it?" Squidward rephrased his previous question.
"I would!" Mr. Krabs grinned. "Because all of Bikini Bottom will be 'sharing' their money with me while I 'share' me annual Sharing Patties."
"You do realize that we'll all be forced to share our most precious belongings with the entire town?" Squidward asked.
"Of course I do," Mr. Krabs answered.
"Which means that you'll also have to share your most precious possession," Squidward pointed out.
"I know that," Mr. Krabs said, rummaging through his pocket.
He pulled out a small piece of paper and presented it to Squidward.
"I'll be sharing my first dollar bill," Mr. Krabs grinned.
"Mr. Krabs… that's a piece of paper with a smiley face and two dollars signs," Squidward shook his head.
"No it's not. It's me first dollar," Mr. Krabs grinned. The money grubbing crustacean slowly walked backwards to his office, still wearing his creepy smile and closed the door in front of him.
"Oh, I can't wait for the announcement of the Share Manager! I really hope it's me," SpongeBob said, excited by the thought of being the Share Manager.
"I don't. You're the last person I want to handle anything I own," Squidward said.
The job of Share Manager was a very important role that everyone in Bikini Bottom wanted to have. Because of that, the Share Manager is picked through a secret lottery and the winner of that lottery would be announced at 12:00 in the afternoon every year.
Every year SpongeBob dreamed of being the Share Manager, but he never was able to be picked through the lottery. In fact, he was pretty sure that he was the only one in Bikini Bottom who wasn't the Share Manager. Sandy had the job last year and Patrick the year before that. Even Plankton was the Share Manager once, but that resulted in him trying to steal the Krabby Patty secret formula again.
"Alright, let's see who will be the town sucker this year," Squidward groaned.
He switched the nearby radio on and changed it to the local news station.
"We've just pulled a name from the lottery," a reporter announced. "Remember the name we read aloud will be this years' Share Manager."
"Oh please, oh please! Let it be me!" SpongeBob anxiously cried.
"We are reading the name now," the reporter announced. "This year's Share Manger will be… SpongeBob SquarePants!"
"YAHOO!" SpongeBob let out a cry of joy loud enough to be heard from the surface.
