Peter was getting ready to leave the office when Neal came up to him.

"What are you and Elizabeth doing for Valentine's Day?" Neal asked.

Peter looked at the calendar hanging on the wall, shocked, "Today's Valentine- shit! El's going to kill me."

Neal chuckled and told Peter, "I knew you'd forget. I got the two of you reservations here," Neal handed Peter a piece of paper with the restaurant's name on it, "for eight o'clock"

"Neal, this is the most expensive restaurant in New York! How did you get a reservation?"

"I know a guy," Neal said simply as he motioned for Peter to follow him to his desk.

"Of course you do," Peter said under his breath. Neal rolled his eyes as he opened one of his desk draws and pulled two boxes out, and handed them to Peter.

"Those are for Elizabeth. You can pay me back later. Have fun!" Neal called as he walked through the doors towards the elevators.

Peter opened the first box and saw the most beautiful flower he had ever seen, and a note to Elizabeth. Matching Peter's handwriting exactly, it read, "Happy Valentine's day El. Love Peter"

Peter chuckled at Neal's ability to predict him forgetting Valentine's Day and opened the second box. Inside was a simple, yet beautiful necklace adorned with El's birthstone. Peter smiled and reminded himself to thank Neal tomorrow, as he headed home to his wife.
