Disconcertion
Kyo was disconcerted, to say the least.
In fact, his jaw was barely attached to his skull in his state of shock.
"How long have you known about this?!" Kyo asked his wife, who was looking a little nervous.
"Well...a few months..." Tohru said as her hands twitched.
"A few months?" Kyo roared. "Shishou!"
"I'm sorry that we didn't tell you earlier. We expected that you would act like this, frankly." Kazuma said, avoiding his adopted son's gaze.
"Act like what? Angry? Upset? You're damn right I would! I can't believe this." The grown man crossed his arms and leaned against the wall as Tohru gave him a slight hug. "I don't even know what to say."
"It's weird for me, too." Tohru admitted.
"I'd say it is the strangest for me." The cold voice that everyone dreaded said, and all three turned to the woman in question, one Hanajima Saki. "Though I must say..." She glanced at Kyo and Tohru. "I did always want to be related to Tohru. Being her stepmother-in-law sounds fun. Now I can be sure of her safety." Her eyes flashed at Kyo.
He shivered, horrified by the woman who had married his shishou.
"Now you should call me 'mother'..." Hana suggested as her waves sparked in the air.
Tohru sweat-dropped as Kyo's eyes widened in fear.
What on Earth did Shishou see in her? Why had Hana married him anyway?
Hana stared at him, as if reading his thoughts. Then she mumbled something under her breath about older men being her type.
Kyo was going to be left with some emotional scars.
"At least it isn't Uo-chan." Tohru noted, remembering how Kyo hadn't gotten along with her either.
"What about me?" Arisa Uotani asked, entering from the kitchen. "I was just visiting the newlyweds." She glanced around before noticing Kyo fall to the ground.
"Why'd he faint?"
