Mia's pov
"You lied to Dom! You lied to me!" I shouted at brian.
"Mia, I was only protecting you guys. I never meant to hurt you!"
"Well, it's to late, Brian.. because I hate you. I never want to see you or hear from you again." I turned away from him, the tears beginning to fall from my eyes. I ran back to my car, angrily. I drove as fast as I could, wanting to get far away from him. Maybe I was going to fast, but it didn't matter. My phone began to ring. "What do you want Brian?"
"I want to apologize, I was a complete idiot. I shouldnt have lie to you or dom. I promise, next time, I wont lie."
"There wont be-" I gasped, I missed the sign, and a car came racing towards my way. I turned the wheel as hard as I could, but I was to late. The car had hit mine, a fierce pain racing through my body. My car flipped and flipped until I was upside down.
Brian's pov
"Mia! Mia!" I shouted into the phone. I was already in my car, racing towards where I thought she might have gone. I almost thought I had gone to the wrong place, until I saw her.. In her damaged, upside down vehicle, badly injured. I got out of my car and ran to her as fast as I could. "Mia!" I grabbed her face in my hands. "Mia!" I gently pulled her out of her car. "Mia, answer me!" I yelled.
"Brian.." was the last thing she said before she passed out.
I called Dom, "Dom, meet me at the hospital, bring everyone."
End of pov
"Brian, what is going on?" Dom asked. Brian was tear stained, puffy red eyes, he looked like he hadn't slept for days.
"Its Mia.. She was in an accident.." Brian said sadly.
"What are you talking about? What accident?" Letty chimed in.
"Her car flipped..."
"This is all your fault!" Dom said angrily, he rushed towards Brian, and pinned him against the wall. But Brian didnt protest, he didn't protect himself, he just stood there motionless, as if nothing mattered. Roman and Taj Pulled Dom away from Brian.
"It wasnt his fault." Gisele said.
"Actually it was.."
"What are you talking about? You said her car flipped, theres no way you could have done that, unless you ran into her, but we all know you wouldnt do that." Letty said.
"She was angry at me, and she drove off, and a car ran into her.."
"Where did that car go?"
"I dont know, it left before I even got there."
"It wasnt your fault, Brian." Gisele said, laying a hand on his shoulder.
"I have some bad news," the doctor said while walking towards them, "There is no good way to put this, but.. Your friend, Mia.. is in a coma." Everyone stared at the doctor, shocked looks on their faces, and than the tears came.
"Isn't there anything you can do?" Brian asked.
"I'm afraid not, the only thing you can do is wait."
"For how long?" Roman asked
"It could be a day or a month, sometimes and can take up to a couple of years."
"A couple of years? How is that any better?"
The doctor looked impatient, "I'm very sorry."
Dom had calmed down now, and was sitting next to Letty, sobbing, while she comforted him.
"You can see her now, if you'd like." The doctor said, and walked away.
'See her?' Brian thought, 'We can't see her, she wont really be there, we cant talk to her, she wont be listening. This is all my fault, she is in here because of me. I just wish I could apologize. Now I'm being selfish, if I hadnt had even lied to her in the first place.. She wouldnt be here. She is in a coma! She is nearly dead! But atleast her being a coma means there is a little hope for her to come back to us.'
"Hey Brian," Letty shouted, interrupting his thoughts,"aren't you coming?" All Brian did was shake his head, staring down at his hands.
