Finding Your Heart
Unversed just kept coming at Kai and Lex from all sides. "What do we do?" Kai asked, uneasy. "Fight." Lex told him. "I've never fought before..." Kai told him. "Then stay by me at all times, Kai." Lex told him. Lex fought back with his two blades, slicing them one by one. After a few moments, Lex noticed Kai wasn't beside him. "K-kai?" Lex asked, a little uneasy. He noticed Kai was on the ground already, blood seeping through his shirt and jacket. A few sparkles came out of his chest, forming heart fragments. Kai reached up weakly, trying to grab one of them. Lex immediately put a forcefield around the two of them. "What's going on?" Lex asked. "The unversed...got my...chest, knocking out the remainder of my heart..." Kai stammered, his voice getting weaker, and his face turning white. Kai looked at Lex. "I need my heart, Lex..." Kai said with an airy voice. Lex panicked for a minute, then reassured Kai. "Have my heart..." Lex told him. Lex knew that this would give Kai stronger feelings for Lex, so he had no hesitation. Lex Stabbed through his own chest, gasping, the pulling the blade out. His heart came out of his chest, and replaced Kai's. Kai stopped fading immediately. "Thank you, Lex...you saved my life..." Kai told him, feeling a different personality wash over him. Lex took down the barrier, and continued fighting. Once the area was clear, Kai and Lex headed back to their apartment. Kai had a different look on his face every time he looked at Lex. They both sat down on their couch, and Kai scoted a little closer to Lex. Lex felt a warmth in his chest and spread throughout his body.
Lex faked a yawn. "I think I'll head up to bed, Kai." Lex said. "Oh..uh...Let me come with you. We'll..share the bed tonight." Kai said as he blushed. "O-okay.." Lex stuttered and he climbed into bed. Kai got on the other side of him and easily fell asleep. Lex lay there, staring at Kai. Emotions rushed through him. Now's your chance...Lex thought. Lex was about to scoot closer to Kai when Kai started cuddling him. He turned a bright red and cuddled him as well. Before he knew it, he was fast asleep, with Kai wrapped in his arms.
Kai woke up that next morning to find Lex's warm body all over him. Heat rushed to his cheeks. "L-Lex?" Kai asked. Lex yawned. "Yeah...?" Lex yawned. "Why are you..cuddling me?" Kai asked. Lex's eyes widened and he pulled away. "I'm sorry..I must-" Lex was cut off by Kai's kiss. "Hold Me.." Kai asked Lex. Lex then tightened his arms around Kai and Held Kai's face against his chest. "Lex...?" Kai asked. "Yes...?" "Why did you really give me your heart..?" Kai asked him. Lex blushed a little. "It's because...I...love you, Kai..." Lex told him. Kai turned a bright pink. "I love you too..." Kai said.
