Fai sat down on the couch, next to Kurogane. He looked over at the ninja, who was reading another one of his ninja mangas. He wanted to lay down, but he didn't want to lay in a bed.
"Kuro-sama..." He started off slowly, squeezing a bunch of the fabric from his pants into his hands. The ninja looked up at him from his manga, wondering what Fai wanted. "I... Was wondering... uh, can I, uh..."
He trailed off and looked away, deciding against asking. He squeezed his eyes shut and started to stand up, but was stopped when he felt an hand on his shoulder pushing him down. He sat and looked into the red eyes of the ninja, who was staring at him, "Mage, if there's something you want, tell me. You know I don't like the run-around bullshit you always do. Tell me what it is," He said forcefully.
Fai sighed, thinking /Of course he would be like that/ He turned his face away, whispering, "I was wondering... if I could lay on you... I'm kind of tired..." He looked back at Kurogane, who's face looked surprised. The surprise melted into a small grin. He waved his hand across his chest,
"Of course you can. Feel free," He said, shifting so Fai could lay on him.
Fai sat there for a second, not sure whether he was suspposed to or not, before deciding to lay his head on Kuroganes chest, stretching his legs out and laying his hands on Kuroganes lap. Kurogane secured Fai to him by placing his hand on his back and rubbing it slightly.
Fai sighed happily and laid there for a couple minutes. When everything went quiet, he heard a Thump, Thump sound. Thump, Thump, it sounded like it was coming from Kurogane. Thump, Thump. It was his heart.
"Kuro-sama..."
"Mm..?"
"I can hear your heartbeat..."
