A/N: A very short one-shot about Percy melting Nico's frozen heart. This is my first Percico (Percy X Nico) fanfiction, so if you have any tips to help me I will gladly hear them.

Disclaimer: Rick Riordan owns Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus and its characters. I don't own nothing but my ideas and I also not making any money out of this fic.

Warmth

Something that always bothered Nico was the cold feeling he constantly felt deep inside his chest, like something important was missing. As the years went by he started getting used to this feeling, neither the cold or the dark seemed unhealthy to him anymore, until this boy came across his path.

Percy Jackson was the light and the warmth Nico needed in his life, the hero that could save him from the dangers darkness always seems to offer, a cure for his injuries and the solution for his lonely heart.

It was difficult to realise and accept his feelings towards the older boy, even more to say them out loud. It took a while, filled with anguish, but the two boys knew where and with whom they belong.

The beginning of their relationship was awkward to say the least, the two were very different from each other and didn't share the same interests, one of the only things they had in common was their love for the other. Because of that they were always reluctant to be the one that gives the first step. But time changed this, as it does with everything else.

With time kisses became more frequent and meaningful, less shy and bolder. Their love was getting stronger every day and the ice inside Nico's heart started melting. Every touch, every glance, every smile and kiss made a wave of warmth invade Nico's chest, an uncomfortable and not very welcomed feeling at first, but by now made his heart flutter and sighs escape his thin lips against his will.

The feeling kept getting stronger until there was a point where Nico couldn't even feel the coldness anymore, and if he did he knew he had someone to comfort him, and to make sure he felt the warmth.
