Thunderclan's Missing Leader and Kits!
One day Sandstorm was coming back from hunting. She went to check on her kits just to see that they were not there!
When Sandstorm went to tell her mate, Firestar, she saw, to her dismay, that he was not there! The ginger she-cat went out to find Leafkit, Squirrelkit, and Firestar. She followed the scent trail to the Shadowclan border and she saw that it ended.
When Sandstorm got to camp, she saw her brother, Dustpelt, and asked "Will you help me find Leafkit, Squirrelkit, and Firestar!" in a panic. He automatically said yes, since his leader was the one missing.
They ran to the Shadowclan border and looked both ways before crossing the Thunderpath. When it was clear Sandstorm and Dustpelt ran side by side across.
Once they got to the other side, they hid in every bush they could find, following the trail. They didn't find them on Shadowclan territory and crossed the border on the side without the Thunderpath.
All of the sudden it started to rain! The two cats wandered around blindly until they came to a bush that smelled like kittens. "I found a scent!" yowled Dustpelt.
They walked past every bush, branch, and rock they saw. The two cats passed an overhanging rock and saw a red pelt and smelled the scent of cat. "We found them!" said an excited Sandstorm. They joined the other three cats under the rock, waited until the rain stopped and then headed home.
