As the Night Falls

As Ashitaka and San ran through the night, Ashitaka began to feel afraid of what the people of his village would think. He felt as though he would be shunned by all that he new. San was also feeling afraid of what the people would think of her and her family, she also felt asthough she would be shunned. San was getting tired and so was Ashitaka. They found a meadow near a lake. They decided to stay there. As they look around at the trees, as they feel the cool breeze, Ashitaka looked in her blue shining eyes with amazement. He had never felt the way he felt now. "What the hell are you looking at?" said San. He just said, "Your beauty, my love." His words fell over her and consumed her. She new she would spend the rest of her life with him. Ashitaka felt as though, someone, something, had blessed him. He would live with this curse, if he could live with her. He would give himself before he would give her away. He felt love beyond compare. As they lie down San, felt the same of his flowing dark hair in the breeze. That night would be one to remember. At that Ashitaka got up and asked her if she would spend the rest of her life with him.

"Yes, my love," was all that San said. But what would happen in the morning would change their lives forever.
