Chapter 1
"Raven… I want to take you to Romania," Alexander Sterling, the love of my life who is also a vampire said.
"Why" I asked surprised. His statement took me off guard. It was the last week of school on my senior year and we were celebrating at the Dullsville Cemetery having a picnic. All the food was done by Jameson, of course.
We have had a ton of picnic's here already, but it was my favorite place in Dullsville, what can I say.
"My dad sent another letter asking if I would go spend the summer with him, and he also invited you," he stated.
Wow.
I haven't seen Alexander's dad for almost a year and he wasn't even here for that long. He knows little about me. He even thinks I'm a vampire!
Well… I'm not… yet.
Sometimes I doubt Alexander even wants to change me, but according to him, most of the time he does.
We've been through a lot together these past two years.
"I don't know. A whole summer? That's a long time. Plus the fact your parent's think I'm a vampire" I said unsure.
Alexander leaned in towards me. I looked into his dreamy eyes.
"He still doesn't have to know you human either," he argued, nicely.
"We could make it so I am a vampire, too you know," I argued back. I knew I had him. This topic always made him uncomfortable.
"Not now Raven," he murmured.
I looked away form him and looked at my glow-in-the-dark Hello Batty watch.
"I need to get home or else my mom is going to freak. She's probably going to be stressed out enough already with me graduating and all" I said with a sigh.
Alexander nodded and started putting stuff back into his backpack. I also helped.
