The words struck Shana like fire. It just couldn't be true. "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" she cried at Yuji, who's face was calm.
"No Shana," he said, as if he expected this reply. "It's true. I am married to Yoshida-san."
Flashback
"You don't have to worry," said Alastor. "Yuji is safe."
"I know," was Shana's stiff reply. "I just want to see him. It had been seven years since Shana and Yuji had graduated from high school, and she hadn't seen him since. No matter how many times Alastor told her that Yuji was safe, Shana kept worrying about him. It was finally time to see him again. Fortunately, she knew exactly where Yuji lived, or at least someone who could tell her. She walked to Yuji's mother's house, to ask for information, but was surprised when Yuji opened the door.
"See?" said Alastor. "He's safe."
"Shana?" Yuji said, disbelief spread all over his face. Shana smiled and threw her arms around him.
"Yuji!" she cried, quite relieved that he was all right.
"I have a surprise for you," he said, smiling. This was when Kazumi Yoshida stepped into the main entrance.
End Flashback
"Yuji, how could you?" asked Shana in disbelief.
"After college, I couldn't find you anywhere. I moved back here and met Yoshida-san. Then we started dating and… AAAHH!" Shana had just unsheathed her sword and placed it right under Yuji's neck.
"Hmph!" Shana said angrily. "After all these years, you abandon me! All these years I was worried sick about you! Did you care? You could have at least TRIED to search for me!"
"But Shana, I –"
"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Have you ever heard of yellow pages?"
"Shana, I tried, but –"
"Seven years and all you had to do was check a yellow book! Goodbye, Yuji. Don't even bother apologizing." With tears in her eyes, Shana sheathed her sword, walked outside, and slammed the door to Yuji's house, never turning back.
