Bakura didn't have any weaknesses, and it was common knowledge among everyone who knew him. Yet, everyone always wondered why the stubborn, knife-addicted thief would obey, at least most of the time, his boyfriend Ryou.
Melvin thought that Ryou simply paid him with gold or gave the best blowjobs, and Marik thought that Ryou had tricked Bakura into it. Yami had respectfully kept quiet on the subject while Yuugi said that Bakura simply loved Ryou. Kaiba and Seth ignored nearly all of their conversations about it and didn't care. The rest of the gang all thought that Ryou was a secret badass and had threatened Bakura into it.
The truth was rather simple really, or so that's what Bakura always thought as he walked beside Ryou. They were currently strolling through the carnival that was in town for a week arm in arm. Ryou's smile hadn't fallen from his face the entire car ride over and it certainly wasn't going away now. He kept dragged Bakura over to the numerous stands of games and food that Bakura himself really couldn't give a damn less for.
Me and my weak backbone, he thought in his head as he absently followed Ryou from booth to booth, curiosity, and wonder in his eyes. He was annoyed for sure but didn't speak a word of it to Ryou. He knew he could never get anyone to love him completely like Ryou did, and if he were to speak honestly, he loved Ryou so much more. I guess that's why those bloody things work on me.
"Let's go on the Ferris wheel, Bakura!" Ryou said cheerfully and effectively caught Bakura's attention. The large brown orbs that stared at him were bright and warm, and the 'No' that rose in his throat fell abruptly.
With a resigned sigh, Bakura said, "Fine, but we leave right after."
"Deal!" Ryou shouted excitedly and began dragging Bakura over to the short line waiting to board the Ferris wheel.
Bakura briefly wondered how he even got in this situation when it occurred to him. It was those damned things again, he thought disgruntled. He had come downstairs earlier that day to find Ryou looking at some sort of pamphlet that had come in the mail. Bakura had asked what he was looking at when Ryou said it was some sort of carnival that was in town. It was then that Ryou had asked Bakura to take him and he just couldn't resist those things. Those orbs that gleamed with happiness at the mere thought. Yeah, that's what happened. He sighed again but softer this time so Ryou wouldn't hear over his excited rambling.
Oh, how he wished he could resist those perfect brown eyes that Ryou had. Maybe then he'd have some dignity and no weaknesses. Yet, Bakura thought as they boarded the ride, I don't think I'd want it any other way. I quite enjoy being a sucker for his eyes, just as long as he's smiling.
And just as long as no one knows about it.
