AN) Soo this is just a little something I came up with when I was pissed off at my boyfriend. I took to writing instead of hurting. I waited awhile and showed him this and he said I should post it... so here it is... sorry if you guys think it ends abruptly. I kind of think it does but couldn't come up with anything else to say since it served its purpose and calmed me down. R & R everyone! (BTW the quote at the beginning is what Sasuke's saying as he's walking down the hall & out the door)
"I've been dealing with my issues. I realized something. You're my biggest issue, cutting off the Hydra's head gets you nowhere. You have to stab it precisely in the heart. You're that heart Sakura. Its over. Don't you dare come near me again."
Sakura just stood dumbfounded and watched her love walk out the door, tears slowly filling her eyes. When they overflowed she didn't notice. She felt as though someone was sitting on her chest and she fell forward into the counter.
She didn't think what she was doing. Thinking was what got her to this point in the first place. She thought he loved her. She thought he would keep his promise and stay with her forever. Sakura grabbed the meaningless band of metal and stone on her finger and sent it flying into some unseen corner of the room as she stifled her first sob of agony. It had nearly been a scream.
She dug in the drawer, not really seeing due to the tears. She didn't know what she was doing, she just knew she had to do something. She grabbed the black plastic handle of the small knife in the drawer. She didn't even look down before she slid the sharp edge over her wrist. Not hard, she didn't want to have to explain this to her parents when she saw them in a week, but she saw a small line of crimson nonetheless. She kept repeating the action, the feel of the cold metal dragging through her skin calmed her down. After a few more cuts, her tears vanished and her head became clear. When she realized what she was doing she quickly dropped the weapon and ran to the bathroom to get her first aid kit.
Sakura felt guilty. She knew it would hurt her friends if they knew what she had done. She couldn't bring herself to care though. It went on like this for a while, anytime anyone said something about Sasuke she would get a new scar. They were almost like tally marks. When she moved her arm, wrist or hand she could feel the cuts burn in protest. It also gave her satisfaction, thinking this was one thing in her life she could control. The truth was though, she couldn't control it and she was scared to death.
AN/ so what did you guys think? I know I should be working on the sequel to Love is Blind, it's getting there. It's taking a lot longer than I expected, so just be patient please!
