Memories. Thats all they are now, and all they ever will be.

All the good ones, funny ones, and all the bad ones, I don't care. They all hold a special meaning to me.

6 months have passed since the defeat of Ultimecia and since we all graduated as seeD.
Squall, Selphie, and Zell...we were all very proud and excited that day.
We couldn't do it without Quistis of course, she was there to congratulate us all that was like a mum to us.
I still remember the spotlights that beamed onto the dancefloor, the sound of the piano being played in the background for music - Slow, Jazz, COuntry, a bit of everything really. I could still smell the rich aroma of the red wine served that day, and the taste. Sweet and fruity, with a slight bitter taste.
I closed my eyes as I escaped into this fantasy world, that once existed. Where it once all happened.

"You ok?" I heard a man's voice ask.
A few minutes had passed by already. I slowly opened my eyes and scanned the room for a moment. Foggy grey clouds smothered the dark black sky. I could feel the light touch of the fine blades of grass brush against my ankles as the slight breeze blew into my face.
That's when I realized I wasn't in any room. I looked further ahead and spotted some tents. And realized this was my reality.

I looked back at the face of the man who had just spoken to me.
His face was pulled into a concerned frown. I took in his familiar chesnut brown hair-long and soft.
His green eyesgazing at me, serious and sincere, ones I could always get lost in every time I stared into them. And not forgetting that scar right across his forehead from the fight with Seifer a while ago. Not a fresh red scar anymore, but a brown line, unwilling to disappear completely. I didn't want it to disappear, it was a small reminder of part of my old life. Of how I remembered Squall when I first met him...

His hand rested on my shoulder and his head lowered to my height.
"Do you need a doctor Miss?" he asked.
I shook my head.
"No, I'm fine. Just a bit...tired. Thanks for asking", I replied smiling gratfully.
Squall nodded and I watched as he walked into the distance and into the one of the tents.
