Tony looked at Sarah, she was fast asleep in his arms but soon she would be leaving him to go to France in order to resign from her job. She mumbled gently in her slumber and she snuggled up to her Italian lover.

I really hate to let this moment go

When a goodbye kiss, feels like this

Tony ran his hand through her hair, not knowing if she would be back or not, but knowing that it was something that she had to do alone. She had already told him not to follow her; she had said she wanted to protect him, but what if he wanted to protect her? Why would she not let him?

Tony tugged his brunette wife closer to him and pressed a kiss into her corkscrew curls, "I love you" he whispered to her in the darkness, as he wished morning never came so that she would not leave the safety of his embrace.
