Wanda lay in an empty bed. Her husband of thousands of years left her. They have had fights before, but this one had to be the worst. She was sure he would never come back.
She started to cry and wiped her tears with the blankets. She was so upset. She blamed herself. If she had been more open, maybe…just maybe…he would be there.
She got up and got a glass of water to keep herself busy. She couldn't go to sleep. He would be there in her dreams. But that's all they were, dreams. She would still wake up to an empty bed.
She heard something in the other room. She went to go investigate. She saw Cosmo floating.
"Cosmo, I'm sorry, for everything," Wanda said. Cosmo shook his head.
"No, I'm sorry," he said.
"I assume you came for your things?" Wanda said, tears streaking her face. Cosmo looked shocked like she was speaking a foreign language. He stuck his wand out and music started playing.

Cosmo opened his arms for his wife. She floated over to him and hugged him. They swayed back and forth to the music while Cosmo sang.
