Dezzie's Diary
Spring 1, Year 1:
I have finally arrived at my farm. The weather is great, a bright blue sky without a cloud to be seen. I already have to get down to work; paying off my house, picking and buying crops, finding livestock, and not to mention meeting this Goddess. I also have to introduce myself to everyone in town. Cue a groan.
So, I planted and watered my crops, got a cow, met almost everyone in Flute Fields, figured out that I had to fix the bridge leading to Garmon Mines before I get there, and then collapsed exhausted at my bed just after the moon was in the sky. I'll go to sleep just after I finish writing this. I got to see the sunset, a gorgeous pink sky with yellow teases. I feel lonely even with my cow, Betty. I need to meet some friends. So far I haven't met one good looking guy around my age. I'm starting to worry. I hope I can meet some good girl friends and settle down with a boy to marry and have a family. That is truly what I want here, I only farm to get the money. It's so beautiful here that I fear even if I don't meet the right guy here I won't want to leave.
Overall, the day was long and busy. A good first day. I made just over 500 G from decent cabbage. Oh, and before I get a few winks, I better remind myself to fix this bridge leading to Garmon Mines as soon as possible so I can meet the Harvest Goddess. I wonder what is going on with this town, everyone is telling me random bad things are happening.
