Prologue

"Eddy?" Ed whimpered lowly as he grasped his fallen friend in his arms.

"E-Ed?" Eddy whispered back clutching onto his friend's jacket with the small amount of strength his could manage.

"I'm here Eddy." Ed responded cradling the smaller boy in his arms and crouching over him.

"Ed." Eddy repeated, his voice starting to slowly fade away.

"No Eddy save your strength, we'll find you some help." Ed mumbled as he began to stand. A painful yelp coming from Eddy's throat made him sit back down.

"Ed, stop." Came Eddy's voice.

"Don't worry Eddy…I-I'll find you some help." Came Ed's worried reply.

"Ed, leave." Eddy said to his friend.

"What?" Ed looked at Eddy as if the boy had grown two heads. "No! I won't leave you here to die!"

"Don't worry about me Ed." Eddy said grabbing ahold of Ed's jacket and pulling himself up to meet the larger male's eyes. "There are other people who need your help." Ed shook his head.

"You need my help too." Ed countered.

"No, I had my chance, I make the wrong choice and it bit me in the ass later on." Eddy explained. "But, there are people, who made the right choices and are gonna be punished for something they didn't do." Ed sighed, as much as he hated to admit it, Eddy was right. Ed wrapped his arms around the smaller boy and embraced his friend.

"Make him pay." Eddy whispered into Ed's ear before the two stopped their embrace. Ed quickly leaned Eddy up against the wall, went to his belt and pulled out his Glock 27 and placed it on his friends lap.

"Don't let them take you." Ed muttered. Eddy nodded and loaded the gun and faced the door.

"Take care of 'em Ed." Ed nodded as he rose to his feet. He pulled out his twin Desert Eagle and loaded them before he went to the door, ready to face the world.
