She had built up lots of walls over the course of her life. They had been there to stop her getting hurt, but they now lay crumbled all around her. How he had managed to get this much power over her, she didn't know. He had worn her down gradually, and she had found herself reluctantly beginning to care for him. He had ruined her life and saved her at the same time, she no longer belonged in the world she had come from, her home. She had changed too much, but she now belonged with him. She loved him.
