I was watching the Fox marathon and this came up. I wanted to post it sooner, but I got caught up (again) with the old episodes. I really liked how optimistic Bob was and I missed him - even though I know that his part on the show wasn't meant to be a big one because, come on.

This is a missing scene (for me), after the first episode from the 5th season. When they all meet again after Carol (she's so amazing omg please go back to be the amazing Carol from season 4/5) exploded Terminus, remember?

Besides, I really think that we need something lighter after the premiere. What was that omg! Such an amazing episode and please don't kill me, but I love Negan, already. Yes, I know that he broke our hearts but come on, he's so charismatic and fun and cruel (yes, I know, weird) and I love him. I really do. How do you guys feel about it?

You watch as the fire burn in front of you.

You're all together around the camp fire, just enjoying the relative peace that you've finally seem to find.

Daryl and Carol are keeping watch not that far away from you; Maggie and Glenn are cuddling and Rick is with Judith on his lap and Carl sitting on his left, close to his heart. The boy, on his part, is divided between playing with his little sister and with the ring on his father's left hand, while Tara and Michonne are finishing their meals.

The new ones (Abraham, Eugene and Rosita, right?) are talking quietly among themselves and last, but not least, Sasha is resting her head on Tyreese's shoulder with a content smile on her face.

You feel your smile getting bigger just by seeing the look on her face.

It's rare, these days, to find a quiet moment to just contemplate the good things in life. With death around every corner you learned how to appreciate this moments.

You've been living through hell since this whole damn thing started. Then the prison fell, terminus happened and now, now you're finally able to breath and relax.

"Why are you smiling, Bob?"

You look at Sasha, who is looking at you with those big black eyes full of mirth.

"I just found out the good part in all of these bad things that were thrown at us"

Everyone is looking curiously at you, all of them still with a smile on their faces.

You close your eyes and your grin is bigger now.

"This. Right now, this moment. Can't you feel it?"

They look at each other and, as you see an understanding look passing through their eyes, you sit back and relax again.
