Summary: A series of random stories ranging from the canon-verse to AU following Kagome and Sesshomaru as they either fall on love or live out their lives together.
*Eskimo Kisses* Canon-Verse
Kagome hummed softly as she weaved a flower crown for her adopted daughter. Rin had been feeling under the weather all week and today was the first day she'd felt better but she'd had to continue her lessons. So Kagome had promised her a flower crown once she was finished. She blinked when there was movement in her tummy. She gave her round stomach a rueful look and said softly,
"When you are born you will get one as well, little one."
"Hn. You will not be teaching this one's heir flower crown making."
Kagome grinned and looked up as her mate approached her. Her eyes glinting mischievously she asked innocently, "But Sesshomaru-sama looks lovely in flowers. Wouldn't this one's honorable son also look lovely?"
He scowled, knowing she caught him in a trap. He huffed softly as he looked away from her and her tinkling laughter filled his ears. "Oh!"
Sesshomaru's eyes snapped towards her, seeing her holding her stomach with a surprised look before it warmed into a smile, her eyes dancing with mirth.
"I think he is laughing with me."
She chuckled lightly before reaching over and taking his hand, placing it over her tummy he felt the soft little kicks. Gold eyes melted slightly and he looked up at her as she watched him, glowing lightly with the fairness of motherhood.
The taiyoukai growled approvingly and she sighed happily, rubbing her belly as she spoke. "He's going to be a feisty one."
Sesshomaru leaned forward and kissed her forehead gently, nuzzling her cheek as he said, "Then we shall teach him discipline…and kindness."
Kagome's heart warmed at her mate's thoughtfulness to her feelings. Turning her head slightly she rubbed her nose against his in a shy Eskimo kiss as she softly,
"He will know the strength of his father who is brave and honorable."
Sesshomaru tentatively returned what his mate called an 'Eskimo Kiss' still unused to this show of affection but comfortable with the almost nuzzling like action.
"As well as the kindness and mercy of his Mother who is wise…and mischievous."
He said the last part teasingly and Kagome laughed again, lightly slapping his arm just as Rin bounded into the garden but stopped. "What are you doing?"
Kagome grinned, a mischievous glint in her eyes as she beckoned her adopted daughter forward. Curious, Rin obeyed but the taiyoukai pulled back slightly having an inkling of what his mate was plotting. Suddenly, Rin was squealing as she was tickled mercilessly as Kagome rained kisses on her face. He watched and felt at ease with the laughter and squeals echoing through his halls, knowing soon enough there would be another to join the two females. His lips quirked up as he thought how convenient that it had all started with an Eskimo Kiss.
