*Johnlock A/U pre-Sherlock death. John and Sherlock are married. But it seems like the whole world is trying to tear them apart. Well, it is. but will it succeed?*

When John got home from the store, the flat was completely silent.

"Sherlock?" John called out, quietly walking up the steps.

"In here John!" Sherlock called from the bathroom.

John set the bag of groceries on the counter and walked down the hall to the bathroom. Sherlock was tieing a bow-tie in the mirror. He was in a tuxedo and his hair was relatively combed. He looked toward the door where John was standing.

"Now don't you look handsome." John slipped his arms around Sherlock's waist and leaned his head on the detective's shoulder.

Sherlock smiled at the show of affection. He let out a frustrated groan and turned to face John.

"Do you know how to tie a bow tie? Because I can't figure it out."

John chuckled. He reached up and began tieing the bow-tie.

After a few moments of silence, Sherlock spoke. "Why do we have to go this wedding? She wasn't there for ours." John and Sherlock were going to Harry's wedding. She was getting married again.

"Because she's my sister Sherlock. And it's important to me that we go. There." John finished tieing the bow-tie.

Sherlock sighed. "If it's important to you, I'll go." Sherlock smiled and wrapped his arms around John's waist and pulled him in for a kiss.

The wedding was very cliche with a lot of flowers and bows. There was an exchange of vows and a lot of tears. John's parents were there. There was also a reception. Sandwiches, punch, and dancing. Sherlock got bored of telling people their life stories and them freaking out and kept bugging John to go home. Finally, John agreed.

"Pleeeaaassse John! I'm so bored here."

"What is there to do at home?"

"There's something there better than this."

John sighed and his head flopped back. "Fine!"

"Thank you!" Sherlock stood and began to put on his trench coat.

"Not so fast." John stood as well.

"What?"

"In return for going home early, you have to dance the next song with me." John smiled.

Sherlock raised an eyebrow. "Is that it? I would gladly dance with you John."

The next song began to play. It was romantic and sad in such a way that it was still happy. John and Sherlock walked onto the

dance floor. They began to dance around the almost empty floor. Nearly everyone was watching them dance now.

"Everyone is watching us." Sherlock whispered, uncertainty riddling his face.

"Is that a bad thing?" John asked.

"Well, no."

"Then don't worry about it." John smiled at Sherlock and Sherlock returned the smile.

The song ended and everyone clapped for John and Sherlock.

When John and Sherlock got back to the flat, it was nearly midnight.

"Ugh. That was exhausting. I hate weddings." Sherlock groaned as he untied his bow-tie.

"It wasn't that bad you big whiner." John pulled on his pajama pants.

"I'm not a whiner." Sherlock pretended to pout. Sherlock knew John couldn't resist his pouty face.

John looked up from what he was doing and smirked. "I'm not going to fall for your pouty face Sherlock Holmes. Not this time."

"Wanna make a bet on that?" Sherlock grinned widely. He jumped up from the bed and walked over to John. They stood inches

apart from each other.

"No, because I'll know you'll win." John smiled.

"Exactly. I always win." Sherlock used his deepest, quietest, most silky voice.

John shivered.

Sherlock gently cupped John's face in his hands and placed a soft and gentle kiss on John's lips.

What did you think? I'll make another chapter if this one is well liked.
