A/N: I've had this idea floating around my head for a while, but just to be fair it's late. Read/review please.
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing."
"Parker is that…"
"It's safe. I've already tested it."
"With what?"
"Flour."
"Flour? You tested…flour? Seriously?"
"It'll hold up to twenty pounds safely."
Parker smiled at Hardison, putting the contraption down.
"Eliot is going to kill you when he finds out."
"No he won't." She muttered, pulling the contents out of a small bag.
"Yeah he will. Parker, where did you find black…"
"I had to dye them. Have you noticed the lack of dark colors for babies?" She turned toward the hacker. "Put her down on the changing table so we can put them on her."
"You're serious?" Hardison looked from the black onesie to the small baby in his arms.
"Yep." She took the baby from Hardison, snuggling her close before placing her gently on the changing table. "I mean what if one of us can't watch her during a con? What if we all have to do something at the same time? What happens to Gracie then? At least this way I know she's going to be safe."
Hardison sighed, unfortunately he couldn't argue with that logic.
"I still think Eliot's going to blow when he finds out." Hardison repeated.
Parker shrugged. "Don't care."
She smiled and tickled the baby's feet before slipping on the little black booties, followed by little black mittens. The last thing to go on was the small knit hat.
"You dyed a blanket?" Hardison questioned as Parker produced a black blanket from the bag.
"Nope. I just got some black fleece and stitched up the edges." She replied as she wrapped the baby tightly and handed her back to Hardison.
"I'm so sorry, Grace." Hardison muttered.
Parker stuck her tongue out at him and set the contraption down on the changing table. The idea had come to her after seeing the carrying harness in the store. She had immediately gotten two, one for Layla and one for herself to fiddle with. After creating her own working harnesses this was a new challenge for her. She had tried three different ways before she had found the one that worked the best and supported the most weight. She new it was safe, and she'd never put Gracie in it if she thought it wasn't ready for use.
"You can't even tell she's there." Hardison commented after he had helped the girls into the harness. Well, he had held Grace while Parker had put the harness on herself and then helped strap Grace into the front of it.
"That's the point." Parker smiled. "All we're going to do right now is go up to the roof and down the back of the building. Small test run."
Hardison let out a breath at the knowledge that was all they were going to do. He picked up the back pack and followed them up to the roof.
