Howdy ho, my fellow LXG lovers! Okay, this is a one-shot song-fic, it's been in my mind sort of randomly, decided to post it. This ties in slightly with I Was Blind. Slightly. Thanks to Clez for giving me the go-ahead. Also, had to tell you all this, I'm in a play, and the play is (of all things!) Tom Sawyer! Sorry, had to share that. The song is I Do It For You, by Bryan Adams. Anyone who's seen Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves will know this song. I love this song, don't know why, it struck a chord with me. Okay, gonna shut up and let you read. Here we go.
Two individuals, one in a ship on the ocean, the other sitting in her room in Missouri. Even though they were apart from each other for thousands of miles, their hearts carried the same hope, the same wish, they thought only of each other.
Tom, on the conning tower overlooking the ocean, begins to sing.
"Look into my eyes.

Across the ocean, Amy Lawrence starts to sing, her heart filled with the same emotions as Tom.

Seized with passion, Tom starts walking around the conning tower as Amy sits at her window. They are singing together.
Tom: "There's no love,"
Amy: "Like your love,"
Tom: "And no other,"
Amy: "Could give more love."
Tom: "There's nowhere,"
Amy: "Unless you're there,"
Tom: "All the time,"
Amy: "All the way!"
Both: "Oh, you can't tell me it's not worth tryin for! I can't help it, there's nothin I want more. Yeah, I would fight for you. I'd lie for you. Walk the wire for you, yeah I'd die for you."
Tom: "You know it's true."
Amy: "Everything I do."
Both: "I do it for you."
They sigh, both hearts longing for the same thing: each other.
