The Childhood of Zeus Chapter 1
Rhea ran with baby Zeus in hand to her mother, Gaia. "This child will survive his father." Rhea thought.
"Mother!" cried Rhea. "Rhea, I see you have followed my advice and gave birth to your child Zeus in secret from his father Kronos " said Gaia. " Thank you, Mother I'm in a debt I can never repay" said Rhea. "Waaaaahh" screamed Zeus because he was hungry. "Quiet him down before Kronos could hear him" roared Gaia. "Shhh" whispered Rhea. "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh" screamed Zeus even louder. "Guards" Gaia roared. Right that second the Curites started yelling and clashing their weapons. Zeus calmed down and started laughing because one of the curites fell on their ass. "This future King of the Gods will have a great sense of humor when he grows up" said Gaia. "Here Mother take care of the child until he grows up" said Rhea to Gaia while handing over Zeus to her nymph handmaiden Neda. Zeus took an instant liking and started cooing in Neda's arms. "My lady do you got to say anything to Zeus before you go?" asked Neda. "Goodbye my child" said Rhea. "Goodbye Rhea" said Gaia. "Goodbye Mother" said Rhea. Then Rhea was off to Cronus with a stone wrapped in a baby bundle for Cronus to swallow
