Disclaimer: I do not own these characters. They are Kazuya Minekura's creative interpretations of an old story. As well as any of the other many individuals involved in the creative process. I am merely borrowing them for the pure fun of writing.

There was no reason, except that there was every reason. Hidden within every object tucked away in shelves and corners was an intriguing question begging to be asked. Even the wooden bucket forlornly forgotten by some monk who had been cleaning.

Gokuu, thrusting the object into Sanzou's view, had looked quizzically at the monk only to be told to sit down with an exasperated sigh.

"What's that?" bouncing.

Sanzou slammed the pen down. "I'm going for a walk."

Gokuu squealed with delight, scrambling for the door.
