Chap.1: The Land of Departure

Yoho peps, CaptainLucrin here! But u can call me Lucrin or Lu or whichever you like! It's my first fanfiction hope you guys can give me advice or other ideas to improve my story, I'm ok if u critic me, so with no time to waste, let's begin!

Having the best day of your life then die to end it, rarely happens, but it never says that it can't happen now, didn't it? Unfortunately it happen to a young poor boy, he is loved by everyone and kind also, even he had a great loss, he also have a strong heart. I'll just go straight to it, rather babbling about it

As he is laying on a hospital bed, looking at his family who's crying next to him, 'How did this happen again?' he asks himself, since his body does not allow him to say anything, 'Oh, that's right I was struck down by a lightning…' he thought of it sadly, "Be strong, Nexus dear," his mother says, holding the blonde's hand tightly

"Bro, i-if you d-don't s-say something, I-I'm not going to s-say a-anything to you anymore!" his little sister says, while holding her tears, "Y-You think d-dad would be happy?!" she asks, knowing very well, that their father passed away a long time ago, Nexus hated to do nothing, due to him being paralyzed, he curse in his mind as vision starts to go blurry, and slowly closing his eyes

"Goodbye…"

At least that what his body allow him to say, and soon his heart rate drop and his mother drop his hand, and his family burst into tears, soon, the doctor came in and the preparation for the funeral is done and now, Nexus, is bury deep under ground

Well at least that's where his body is, but his spirit is somewhere else…

"Hey! Wake up!" someone calls for him, Nexus groans as he opens his eyes, he's in Eraqus' place! And look around him, he's wearing a loose white jacket, as well as a black long pants, with some green shoes, "Urg…" he sits up, having a headache, "Where am I…?" he asks

"In the land of departure," a blonde reply, "In Master Eraqus' place." Nexus nods and notice that he's in Kingdom Hearts World! 'No way!' he thought, 'How did I get here?!'

"Is something wrong? You look pale," the blonde asks, "Have you eaten anything yet?" and in respond Nexus shakes his head as a 'no', "Hey, how about going to Aqua's place?"

"Aqua…? Who's that?" pretending to be a fool who don't know anything. "Well, Aqua is my friend, and my name is Ventus, but call me Ven," Ven says, "And you are?"

"Nexus," the lost boy reply, "Nice to meet you Ven." Nexus smile, and Ven smile back, "Well then, Nexus let's go!" So he runs, truth to be told Nexus got tired and pants heavily when they gets to Aqua's place, "Hey, Aqua are you there?!" Ven asks loudly as well as knocking

Then the door opens, and reveal a blue-haired keyblade wielder, in her PJs, "Oh, Ven, what are you doing here this late?" she asks, rubbing her eyes, and look at Nexus, "Who's this?"

"Oh this is Nexus," Ven introduce Nexus to Aqua, "And Nexus, this is one of my best friends, Aqua." Nexus nods, "Nice to meet you, Aqua," Nexus says

"Nice to meet you too, Nexus," Aqua says, "Well then back to the question…What are you doing here, Ven? It's so late."

"Well, how do I start this," Ven starts to think and tells her the whole story

*flashback 10 minutes ago*

In Ventus' room…

It's 11 o'clock at night, and in the land of departure it's sure is silent and nice at night nothing to worry about, but then Ven is awaken by a nightmare he had, and tried his hardest to go to sleep but can't. So he look outside and apparently sees a shooting star, falling to Master Eraqus' place, due to him not be able to sleep, 'May be I should investigate,' he thought, 'It's better rather you won't be having enough sleep…' So he got up and went to the, place where the shooting star is…

When he arrive there, the light starts to fade away and reveals a lighter blonde hair boy laying on the floor, so he decided to approach him, pokes him, shakes him and it seems that the unconscious boy isn't awake, and repeat what he did, "Hey! Wake up!" he calls the boy

Then a pair of green eyes, starts to reveal, "Ugh…" the blonde boy sat up, holding his head, "Where am I?"

*ends of flashbacks*

"So that what happens," Aqua says, crossing her arms, "Then Nexus, let me guess, you haven't eaten anything right?" she asks, at the newcomer, who nods

"And that's why I ask you if you can cook, for a while," Ven says, Aqua then sighs and nods, "Alright…I'll do it this once," Aqua says, so she went to the kitchen and cook

Meanwhile…

"So Nexus how did you end up in there?" Ven asks, then Nexus looks down remembering that now he's dead, no way of returning home, "Well Ven, it's best that we don't talk about it…" Nexus reply, Ven nods and then change the subjects, "Nexus, can you wield a keyblade?" Ven asks

This question catch Nexus off-guard, "Ven, you know sometimes…I feel you asks something that's weird, to tell the truth I don't know, maybe I can or maybe I can't, that's the answer," he reply, then before Ven can asks anything, Aqua appear with a simple dish in a plate, "Make sure, you wash the dishes, and close the door ok? I'm going to sleep," Aqua says

"Yes, thank you, Aqua," Nexus says, and eats his food, Aqua smiles, "You're welcome, Nexus." She says then go to sleep, after Nexus do the stuffs that he was told, "So, any place to live?" Ven asks

"I just got here," Nexus says, "Then I don't."

"You can stay at my place," Ven offers, in which Nexus gladly accept it, so he sleeps on the floor with an extra-matrass that Ven have for some reason, while Ven is sleeping so peacefully, Nexus stare at the rooftop and holds out his hand, 'Why am I even here?' he thought, then suddenly a keyblade, that looks almost like a samurai mix with pirate styled with a heart chain that is crossed with a samurai sword and pirate sword, at the end of it, 'Woah, what kind of keyblade is this?' he thought

Then the keyblade disappear, and Nexus choose to forget it and goes to sleep, that he'll think about it later on next time…

Me: About the keyblade…yeah, I have to make it a bit unique…since well I love both samurai and pirate so why not do that, haha

Nexus: So you choose me to wield it?

Me: What? I like it…Well you are my very first OC I can think about, so there, thank you for reading folks!
