I'm dead. My heart is beating but I'm dead nevertheless. I can't bring myself to breath, all I can think of is him, I need him. I need him...to live.

My restless body was numb; all I could feel was my heartbeat beating faintly against my chest, but even that was fading.

I missed Fang. And without him I felt practically dead. I cried and cried before and listened to that song; I need a doctor. I always knew I wouldn't need one, I was fine as long as Fang was here, but now it hurts even to think about the lyrics.

I'm about to lose my mind,

I started sobbing as a tear fell down my cheek and onto my hair. Nudge came in the room in time as I whispered softly, my voice trying to make a sound between my sobs, "I'll remember" as Fang's name floated through my body making my heartbeat beat one last time. The last thing I heard was Nudge scream my name in fright.
